Fire in Pleasant Valley Fully Contained

According to fire officials, the wildfire that was burning in the Pleasant Valley area near I-580 is now fully contained. The fire burned a total of 16 acres. Dump Truck Fire Believed to Be Arson

Carson City firefighters say a CalTrans dump truck, that was believed to be stolen, was found early Tuesday on fire near Mound House and the V&T Railroad bridge, possibly in attempt to cover up the theft. Nevada Prisons Accused of Discrimination

The Justice Department accuses Nevada prisons of discriminating against inmates with HIV, illegally segregating them from work programs that could reduce their sentences.
