Plane Lands On Highway

A small Cessna Airplane has gone down at West McCarran near West Plumb lane in the Caughlin Ranch area of west Reno. Early reports suggest the plane lost an engine before landing about 1:30 Tuesday afternoon. There are no reports of injuries either on the plane or on the ground.MORE

Sparks City Council Approves 2017 Budget

The Sparks City Council has approved a General Fund Budget of 61.8 million dollars for 2017. That’s nearly seven percent larger that the current budget. The city is expecting revenues to grow at least 4.4 percent, over 2016. The new budget calls for no reductions in services.MORE
