The U.S. Forest Service reports good progress by crews fighting a fire in the South Lake Tahoe area at the Mount Tallac Trailhead. Special Session of The Nevada Legislature Scheduled For July 8

Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak has officially called for the Legislature to convene in a special session on July 8 to address the state’s Fiscal Year 2021 budget crisis. Northern Nevada Veterans Home Reports Eleven New COVID-19 Infections

The Northern Nevada State Veterans Home reports 11 new infections. Two of the cases involve residents; nine of the cases are staff members. Nevada Added to New York’s Quarantine List

The surge in cases has landed Nevada and California on New York’s quarantine list. Nevada is among 16 states being asked to self quarantine for two weeks, before traveling to New York. The list includes Arizona, Utah and Idaho, where COVID cases are also surging.MORE
