Reno Police Looking For Dark Sedan Involved in Hit & Run

A hit and run sent a pedestrian to the hospital in Reno on Monday afternoon. Reno Police say the pedestrian was in the intersection of East Plumb Lane and South Virginia, when they were struck by a dark colored sedan. Crews Respond to Wildfire in Tahoe National Forest

A 120-acre wildfire is burning in the Tahoe National Forest. Cal Fire and Placer County firefighters are assisting the U.S. Forest Service along with Antelope Fire on Highway 49 and Fillippini Road in Sierraville. Growth of the fire has slowed. The cause is under investigation.MORE

A construction worker is being treated for injuries after an accident in Northwest Reno. A kidnapping suspect from Susanville may be in Reno or Sacramento and Lassen County deputies are asking for the public’s help. According to deputies, Maitland Carpenter was last seen leaving a Susanville area home with Dorothy Crosby.
