Fire Stopped in Cold Springs, Mobile Home Destroyed

A fire in Cold Springs was quickly knocked out by Truckee Meadows Firefighters. The fire started after 1pm Wednesday on Mockingbird Drive, and was mostly controlled by two pm, but not before a mobile home, two outbuildings and some cars were damaged. Rabid Bats Concerning Nevada Department of Agriculture

The Nevada Department of Agriculture Animal Disease Laboratory has confirmed eight positive rabies cases in bats in Washoe, Clark, Elko, Lyon and White Pine Counties.
