Washoe County Settles Wrongful Death Suit

A wrongful death lawsuit is being settled by Washoe county for $100,000. The suit was filed by the family of a Reno gambler, Thomas Purdy, who died in the county jail in 2015, after struggling with deputies. Purdy had methamphetamines in his system during the incident.MORE
