Crews Knock Down Wildfire in Palomino Valley

Crews knocked down a wildfire that sparked Saturday near Winnemucca Ranch Road in the Palomino Valley area. Sierra Front says the Shooting Range Fire burned just under eight acres. Lawmakers Accept FEMA Funds to Pay For Flood Damage

Nevada lawmakers have voted to accept $5.9 million from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to pay for damage from this past winter’s major flooding.
