Motorcyclist Dies In Crash

A motorcyclist has died after a collision with a commercial truck. The crash happened in the Westbound lanes of Mill Street, just west of Terminal  Way. The crash closed the road for several hours. The motorcyclist is 30 year old Jonathan Westerlund of Reno.MORE

Guard Shooting Victims Remembered

200 Nevada National Guard members participated in a run to mark the fifth anniversary of a shooting that killed four people at a Carson City IHOP restaurant, including three guard members. Gov. Reno Police says a missing at-risk woman has been found, and she is okay. Sophie Hernandez was reported missing in north Reno last night. Her family says Hernandez has Down syndrome and walked away from home.MORE

Plane Crashes at South Lake Tahoe Airport

A small plane single engine crashed at the South Lake Tahoe Airport early yesterday afternoon. A spokesman for the FAA says a Cessna 182 with two people on board crashed, reportedly while attempting a landing at the airport. No injuries have been reported after two separate incidents of shots fired occurred yesterday in a neighborhood east of the UNR campus. Six Horses Test Positive For West Nile

Six horses in Northern Nevada have tested positive for West Nile virus.
