After a short standoff a Gardnerville man was arrested for kidnapping his wife at gunpoint, and fleeing to nearby Alpine County. 32 year old Joshua Albericci was arrested on charges including kidnapping, false imprisonment, and possession of an assault weapon. One person was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries after a three-vehicle crash on Highway 50 near Stateline.
