A man has been arrested for allegedly robbing a bank in Carson City. It happened at the Wells Fargo on East William Street around 4 o’clock Tuesday. Pedestrian Killed in I-80 Crash Identified

The pedestrian killed after a 3-vehicle crash near Sparks early on Wednesday morning has been identified by Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office. 67 year-old John Mouchou was struck and killed during the early morning collision which closed the Sparks Boulevard off-ramp for several hours.  Another person was transported to the hospital. Reward Offered For Suspect Wanted in Counterfeit Check Scam

Secret Witness is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the suspect wanted in connection with a counterfeit check scam. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office said the man was caught on surveillance video cashing counterfeit U.S. Treasury checks at Hobey’s Casino in Sun Valley. The checks totaled just over $3,000.MORE
