Three People Arrested During Protest in Carson City

Three people were arrested during a protest near the capitol building in Carson City Saturday night. Sheriff Kenny Furlong says protesters began to walk in the streets, leading to some road closures in the area. He says when the protesters were asked to disperse from the road, three people did not.MORE

Road Work Begins on Sun Valley Boulevard

RTC has closed southbound traffic on Sun Valley Boulevard from Highland Ranch Parkway to 7th, so crews can work on roadway improvements. RTC’s Lauren Ball says they do have a detour in place during the closure. The closure will be in place for around a month.MORE

Mountain West Football Conference Will Start Play in October

The Mountain West Football Conference said it will play an eight-game fall season this year starting Oct. 24, the league decided on Thursday. The announcement came via email. Reward Offered in Arson Investigation

Reno Fire Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance, in identifying suspects who may have set fire to the Esprit apartments, on Veterans Parkway.  The fire was reported at 3:18 a.m. Thursday, July 23rd. State of Nevada Has Tested More Than a Million People For COVID-19

The state of Nevada has now tested more than 1 million people for COVID-19. The latest report includes eight new COVID-19-related deaths- seven from Clark County. The state now has a total of 1,564 deaths. Thursday’s data says there are 390 new COVID-19 cases in the state.MORE

Motorcyclist Suffers Life Threatening Injuries After Mill Street Crash

Lanes in both directions are back open on Mill Street after a motorcycle crashed into a car near the I-580 overpass.
