Three people were arrested during a protest near the capitol building in Carson City Saturday night. Road Work Begins on Sun Valley Boulevard
RTC has closed southbound traffic on Sun Valley Boulevard from Highland Ranch Parkway to 7th, so crews can work on roadway improvements. RTC’s Lauren Ball says they do have a detour in place during the closure. The closure will be in place for around a month.… MORE

Reward Offered in Arson Investigation
Reno Fire Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance, in identifying suspects who may have set fire to the Esprit apartments, on Veterans Parkway. The fire was reported at 3:18 a.m. Thursday, July 23rd. The fire destroyed 11 multi-family-unit buildings that were under construction. Reno Fire Investigators ruled that the fire was arson.
