A shooting between a Sparks police officer and a suspect is under investigation. Police responded to the 1000 block of Rock Boulevard on a call just before 6:00 p.m. last night. Driver Killed in Crash on U.S. 50 West of Fallon

A driver died following a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning at U.S. 50 and Trento Lane about 8 miles west of Fallon. Both lanes were blocked and traffic was diverted, but U.S. 50 was open again by Saturday afternoon. The name of the victim has not been released.MORE

Lawsuit Filed Against Marijuana Dispensary in Sparks

A lawsuit has been filed against a Sparks marijuana dispensary by a former employee who says the Greenleaf Wellness manager touched her inappropriately, and routinely uses hostile language toward women in the workplace. One Child Killed in Crash on U.S. 395

Two children were ejected Thursday morning in a rollover crash on U.S. 395 about 24 miles south of Lone Pine, California. The two who were ejected were not wearing safety devices. Four People Displaced After House Fire in Sun Valley

A home in Sun Valley is a total loss after a fire yesterday; four people were displaced. The Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District knocked down the fire at Ninth Avenue and Yukon Drive in Sun Valley. The single-story home is a total loss according to TMFPD. There were no injuries.
