Red Flag Fire Warnings Up in Sierra, Western Nevada

Tuition Free Community College Makes Partial Comeback in Calif

California will provide free tuition for two years of community college to first-time, full-time California students. Governor Gavin Newsom signed legislation to increase the state education budget to $42.6 million. Gaming win topped a billion dollars in Nevada in July, according to the Gaming Control Board. The total was nearly one billion, 24 million dollars. Man Arrested in Sparks in Child Lewdness Case

The Sparks Police Department was called to a home on Roundhouse road Saturday night on a report of someone luring a child and committing a lewd act with the child. The Nevada Department of Taxation issued a health notice after some marijuana sold from three Las Vegas dispensaries tested above the state’s allowable levels for yeast and mold. Human case of West Nile Virus in Clark County are setting a record. There are now 28 human cases of the disease, spread by the bites of infected mosquitoes.
