Ophir Fire in Washoe Valley Contained at Fifteen Acres

The Ophir Fire burning in Washoe Valley was stopped at 15 acres according to Sierra Front. No structures were threatened, and no injuries were reported. Both TMFPD and Bureau of Land Management crews assisted in the fight. The fire was first reported about 3:00pm Sunday, east of Little Washoe Lake near Ophir Road.MORE
