Lightning started several fires north of Reno Sunday and Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District said the most active was the Cottonwood Fire. A fire was contained to a utility room at the Hilton Garden Inn this morning. Crews responded to a fire alarm around 5:48 AM at Double R Boulevard, near S. Meadows Parkway.
