Lightening Sparked Fire Burning in Remote Lyon County

Lyon County is dealing with a lightning sparked fire on Wellington Hill. They say the fire is not accessible to vehicles on the ground, will attack it with helicopters. Illegal Dumpers Caught in the Act, Cited by WCSO

Some illegal dumpers will have a fine to pay, after being caught red handed by the Washoe County Sheriff’s in Sun Valley Thursday. A sergeant on patrol caught a pair of people illegally dumping yard waste in an open field off of Gepford Parkway. The dumpers were issued a $503 citation.MORE
