Body Found in Silver Lake Identified as 17-Year-Old Sunni DiCarrillo

The Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office has positively identified a body found in Silver Lake in Stead as that of missing 17-year-old Sunni DiCarrillo of Reno. Nevada Assembly Votes to Raise the Marriage Age

It was a bi-partisan vote in the state assembly to raise the marriage age. Currently 16 and 17 year olds can marry with parental approval, those under 16 can, with the approval of a parent and a judge. The bill raises the legal marriage age to 18, and was passed 32-8.
