Fallen Hiker Rescued on Mt Tallac

El Dorado County Deputies and a helicopter helped rescue an injured skier in a remote area south of Lake Tahoe over the weekend. Body Found in South Reno Field Identified, No Cause of Death Determined

The Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified a woman found dead in a south Reno field, as that of a woman who had been reported missing. Two storms have blanketed the Sierra Nevada in snow, pushing the snowpack to 106 percent above average, with the start of winter more than a week away. Fire Damages Garage in South Reno, Does Not Spread to Home

Lime Bike Operators Cut Fleet For The Winter

Lime Bike operators have announced they are reducing their stock of bikes available to rent in the Reno-area for the winter to 150. The company says fewer people use the bikes during the colder months. But, they add that in the last 30 days more than 250 riders used the bikes five times or more.…MORE
