The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a man near the Chichester housing development. Deputies discovered the man’s vehicle around 7am Monday after family filed a missing person’s report Sunday night. A man is under arrest accused of stealing a fire truck. The unlocked truck was parked near the Citi-fare bus station on E. 4th Street around 8:30 p.m. last night, as firefighters and paramedics were treating a stroke victim.
