Suspect Arrested For Stabbing His Girlfriend

A man who was wanted for attacking his girlfriend has been taken into custody. The search has been suspended for a missing woman whose car was found along the Mount Rose Highway. Reno Police say 19-year-old Madelyn Lingenfelter was reported missing September 19th. University of Nevada Snow Pack Study Gets Fed Funding

U.S. Department of Agriculture has awarded University of Nevada $5 million to study our changing snowpack. University scientists will conduct the five-year study with researchers at the Desert Research Institute, Northern Arizona University and Arizona State University.
