Hiker Finds Human Skull Near Truckee

A hiker found a human skull Sunday in a near the town of Truckee and Highway 89. Placer County Sheriff detectives say the skull appeared to have been exposed to the elements for a long time. Careless Counterfeiter Convicted

A Reno man pleaded guilty in federal court to using his home computer and printers to produce nearly $30,000 in counterfeit money. 54-year-old William Griffin pleaded guilty to one count of possession of counterfeit obligations of the United States before Federal Judge Miranda Du. Carson City Man Sentenced on Child Pornography Charges
