Evacuations Near The Site of a Wildfire in Emigrant Gap, California

The Placer County Sheriff’s Office is working with Cal Fire battling a wildfire that started in Emigrant Gap, California. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that one person is dead after a recreational aircraft crash that led to a fire on Slide Mountain.
