The state’s Office of Traffic Safety is requesting a bill draft, asking the Nevada legislature to get behind, “Red light cameras,” to catch red light runners. Lyon County Crews Knock Down Lightning Sparked Wildfire

North Lyon County crews knocked down a wildfire about about half way between Fernley and Silver Springs. The fire, burned less than an acre and was in a remote area, so no structures were threatened. The fire is believed to have been started by lightning.MORE
