A Reno man has been sentenced to 48 years in prison for a convenience store robbery spree. Investigators say 22-year-old Harry Paupuaga broke into a Reno home on October 22nd last year and stole a gun. Whaleback Fire Prompts Evacuations Near Susanville

The Whaleback Fire near Eagle Lake in Lassen National Forest is now estimated to be 8,971 acres and is 6 percent contained. So far about 400 homes and 1,000 people have been evacuated.
