Fire crews were called to Anna’s Mexican Kitchen near South McCarran and 4th Street Monday. Canine Police Officer Dead

[KOH] The Reno Police Department has announced the passing of police dog Thor. The German Shepherd was born in 2013 in Israel. Thor served as a police dog from July 2014 to January 2021. Trifling Temblor in the Truckee Meadows

A magnitude 2.9 earthquake hit the mountains northeast of Spanish Springs Sunday just before 5 p.m. The Nevada Seismological Laboratory put the quake about 1.8 miles northeast of Golden Eagle Park. [KOH] A skateboarder in Sparks died late Friday night after being hit by a vehicle. Around 10:30 p.m. Friday, Sparks Police, Fire and REMSA responded to Sparks Blvd near Prater Way.
