Passenger Killed in Plane Crash Near Truckee Identified

The Washoe County Medical Examiner’s Office has released the name of a passenger killed in the crash of a small plane near Truckee Tuesday morning. 55-year-old Peter Jackson of West Hollywood, California died of multiple blunt force injuries. The pilot, who also died, was 60-year-old Kenneth Whittall-Scherfee of Carmichael, California. He also owned the plane.…MORE
