North Carolina Man Extradited to Washoe County on Sexual Assault Charges

Two Arrested After Investigation Into Phony Prescriptions

Detectives of the regional Street Enforcement Team started an investigation after being contacted by multiple local pharmacies, reporting suspected fraudulent prescriptions being called in to the pharmacies. Taxable Sales Continue Winning Streak

Good economic news continues to roll in. Nevada is reporting a monthly increase in taxable sales for February. The Nevada Department of Taxation says that makes the 92nd consecutive month of increase. Nevada has 4.35 billion in taxable sales, that 3.2% higher that February 2017. Investigators Looking For Third Suspect Involved in Dayton Shooting

The victim in a Monday shooting incident in Dayton has been identified as 34 year old Joseph Mitchell Jarratt. Deputies found Jarratt with multiple gunshot wounds in a shopping center parking lot on Pine Cone Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Driver Killed in Tanker Crash

A driver who was trapped under an overturned tanker, causing the closure of State Route 88 in Alpine County, has died. Investigators say the tanker was traveling at an unsafe speed when it crashed shortly after 10:00am.
