A Reno Police sergeant who was passed over for promotion to Lieutenant five times, despite scoring 90% on the exam, has won a lawsuit against the city. Man Gets Long Sentence For Dealing Meth

A Reno man has been sentenced to 222 months in federal prison for selling methamphetamine in a motel parking lot and possession of a semiautomatic handgun. 49-year-old Ronald Robinson was sentenced by District Judge Larry R. REMSA Ambulance Burglarized on Pyramid Way

A REMSA ambulance was burglarized while parked overnight. It happened on the corner of Eagle Canyon and Pyramid Way between 6:30 p.m. Monday and 4:40 a.m. this morning. Some medical response and monitoring equipment was taken. No patient information was compromised as a result of the burglary. The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating.MORE

Fatal Shooting Under Investigation in Lyon County
