Northern Nevada Business Weekly is reporting, taxable room revenues in the Reno-Sparks area grew by 6.8 percent in March compared to March 2017. Nevada Gaming Revenue Tops $1 Billion for Third Straight Month

For the third straight month Nevada casinos have hauled in more than $1 billion in revenue. Casinos statewide earned about $1.03 billion from gamblers in March. That’s a 3.4 percent increase compared to March 2017. The Nevada Gaming Control Board shows Las Vegas Strip casinos saw their winnings jump 9.1 percent to nearly $574 million.…MORE

Truckee Meadows Community College has become the first Purple Heart College in Nevada. Reno Police Looking For Suspect Who Robbed The Subway at Oddie & Silverada

Reno police are searching for an armed suspect who robbed the Subway sandwich shop at Silverada and Oddie Boulevard. It happened around 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
