Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Citizen Corps Offering Free Training

The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Citizen Corps, is offering an emergency preparedness and response training academy beginning April 12th. Placer County Woman Faces Elder Abuse Charges

A Weimar woman has been arrested by Placer County Sheriff’s property crimes detectives, accused of stealing more than $85,000 from her elderly mother. 60-year-old Katherine Ann Lawrence is charged with elder abuse, identity theft, and theft of an access card.
