Gas Leak Forces Evacuations

A gas leak along Steamboat Parkway in Reno forced several businesses to evacuate Tuesday night. A car drove into a a gas meter just before 7:00 and caused an underground gas leak. NV Energy arrived on scene shortly after the gas line break to stop the leak and make the needed repairs.MORE

Work Begins on The Reno Arch

Work has begun on an upgrade to the world famous Reno Arch. It could affect traffic in downtown Reno as the 225 thousand dollar project goes on through February 16th. Red and Gold lights are being switched out to blue and stainless brushed silver. The project is expected to be fully complete in May.MORE

Carson City Looking for Home Burglars, Missing Guns

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is looking for two suspects in a home burglary. It was reported in the 1300 block of West Washington Street February 2nd. Numerous guns were taken.
