Double Homicide on Reservation Near Winnemucca

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double homicide north of Winnemucca, discovered at a home on the Fort McDermitt Indian Reservation. Man Killed by Train in West Reno Identified

The man killed by a train in west Reno Tuesday is identified as 88-year-old Richard Shute of Reno. Shute was hit about 2pm, near the intersection of W. 4th Street and Summit Ridge Drive, just east of McCarran Boulevard.
