The dog park at Sparks Marina will be closed until further notice for repairs after a vehicle accident Tuesday morning. Crews Knock Down Wildfire Near Jacks Valley Road

Crews contained a three acre brush burning near Summerhill Drive off Jacks Valley Road. The fire started just after 9 pm Tuesday night. Captain Taylor says Jacks Valley Road is back open and crews remain on scene mopping up any hot spots. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.MORE
