Multiple Wildfires Are Burning Around The Region

The Farad fire is burning along I-80, on the California side of the state line. Sierra Front says the fire is across the interstate from Mystic, between Verdi and Floriston. Deputy Howell Acted in Self-Defense According to D.A. Investigation

Firefighter Loses Home to Flames in Palomino Valley

The Winnemucca Ranch Road Fire is now close to full containment at 4799 acres. All evacuation orders have been lifted.
