A brush fire in the Topaz Lake area was knocked down around 8 o’clock last night. Sparks Man Facing Felony DUI Charges

A Sparks man is facing charges of felony DUI after crashing his motorcycle at the corner of Vista Boulevard and Prater Way. Earthquake Near Gardnerville

A 3.9 magnitude earthquake just hit around 3:45pm Tuesday near Gardnerville. The USGS says the quake was 12 feet underground, and was reported around around 10 miles southeast of the Ranchos area. So far, there’s been no reports of injuries or buildings effected.MORE

Body Recovered From The Truckee River

The Reno Fire Department has recovered a body from the Truckee River. The body was found late Tuesday afternoon near Sutro Street and officials say it appears to have been in the water about a month. The identity of the body has not been released.MORE
