Dump Truck Overturns, Closes Second Street

The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that has closed part of Second Street in Reno. The crash happened about 10:30AM. Sparks PD Investigating Shooting Involving Teen

Sparks Police are investigating a shooting involving a 15-year-old boy. It happened just after 7 o’clock last night near Pyramid and York Way. Police say the teenager and two other people were in a car when a handgun went off. The bullet hit the boy in the leg. He is now recovering from minor injuries.…MORE

Carson City Asking For Help to Catch Bad Check Scammers

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying two subjects who cashed stolen checks at two local banks. Between Aoril 14th and the 20th, two unknown subjects cashed multiple stolen and forged checks at local bank branches.  The subjects were able to secure several thousand dollars off the fraudulent activity. …MORE
