“Guns and Hoses,” Success For Kids With Cancer

More than $24,000 was raised to support the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation by local law enforcement, firefighters and citizens who participated in the 5th Annual Guns and Hoses Golf Tournament at  LakeRidge. Plan to Build Ice Rink in South Reno Moves Forward

Washoe County Commissioners voted to move forward with a proposal to build an Olympic-sized ice skating rink in south Reno. The County approved negotiations to secure land for the rink at the South Reno Valleys Regional Sports Complex.
