Police Looking For Tree Thieves

Residents of a Reno condo complex are asking for help finding the people who took two trees that will cost about $1,000 to replace. Apartment Building Evacuated in Sparks

An apartment building in Sparks was evacuated last night after residents started noticing smoke filling their units. Fire investigators now believe the problem may have started with someone lighting a smoke bomb. Crews arrived at the Courtside Garden Apartments on 15th Street just after 12:30am. Two Bodies Found South of Reno

Washoe County Sheriff’s are investigating an incident in the South Reno area, after two bodies were found in a car east of Veterans Parkway near Dorado Hills at Saddle Ridge. Flood Watch for Northern Nevada

  The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a Flood Watch and High Wind Warning for the greater Reno area in effect now through Friday. Residents in flood-prone areas should be on high alert. Highway 50 Closed Again

NDOT has temporarily closed US 50 in the Cave Rock area on Lake Tahoe’s east shore, after five more boulders fell onto the road.
