Attic Fire Under Investigation

The Reno Fire Department is investigating a fire that started in an attic last night on Arroyo Street near Holcomb Avenue. The fire was contained to the attic and no other parts of the home were damaged. One person was home at the time, they escaped safely. The cause is under investigation.MORE

Arrest Made in Hit & Run Crash

A suspect has been arrested in a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian earlier this month in midtown. 25-year-old Joseph Vilard was arrested yesterday afternoon following an investigation by the department’s Major Accident Investigation Team.
