Six-Vehicle Crash Slows Traffic on 395

Northbound 395 was reduced to one lane near the McCarran exit last night after a six-vehicle crash. The Nevada Highway Patrol reported the crash just after 8:15 last night, the scene was cleared by about 10:30. According the NHP, the injuries were minor.MORE

The Little Valley Fire is now 100% contained after burning nearly 2,300 acres. Residents have been allowed to return to their homes while firefighters focus on mopping-up hot spots. Human Remains Found at Road Project Site

Human remains were found Wednesday at the Southeast Connector Road project, by work crews. Washoe County Sheriffs Office says the remains are not recent, and may be historic, they are contacting local tribes to investigate. No delays in the project are anticipated.MORE

Dayton Child Molester Pleads Guilty

A Dayton child molester will serve at least 25 years in prison before he’s eligible for parole. Robert Burton Farr pleaded guilty to sexual assault of a child under the age of 16.
