Aging Bridge Replaced by NDOT

The Nevada Department of Transportation has replaced an aging bridge on State Route 115/Harrigan Road south of Fallon. The new bridge is open to traffic but is unpaved final paving will happen this spring. The Harrigan Road bridge crossing the “L” Line Canal was originally constructed in 1923, and the bridge’s deteriorating supports needed replacing.MORE

One woman is dead after being struck by a vehicle near the Slot World Casino in Carson City last night just after 8pm. The 46-year-old woman was hit by a mini-van while using the crosswalk.
