The Carson City Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office has confirmed the identity of the man found in a car February 26th, East of Carson City. The deceased has been identified as 49 year old Steven Deselle. The Coroner has determined the cause of death to be a suicide by gunshot.MORE

Aging Bridge Replaced by NDOT

The Nevada Department of Transportation has replaced an aging bridge on State Route 115/Harrigan Road south of Fallon. The new bridge is open to traffic but is unpaved final paving will happen this spring. The Harrigan Road bridge crossing the “L” Line Canal was originally constructed in 1923, and the bridge’s deteriorating supports needed replacing.MORE
