Record Number of Super Bowl Bets in NV

Super Bowl fans bet $132.5 million at Nevada sportsbooks on the big game. The Nevada Gaming Control Boards’ preliminary estimate is that Nevada’s 194 sports books kept about 10.1 percent of the bets, for a total win of $13.3 million. One Man Dead in Fatal Crash on I-580

One man is dead after being hit by a car on I-580 near Bowers Mansion early this morning. The man was lying in the northbound lanes on I-580 when he was struck by a Honda Civic just after 1am. Care Flight was reportedly enroute but was turned around, as the man died on scene.MORE

Man Arrested For Sexual Assault

Reno police have arrested a man recently accused of sexually assaulting a minor. 35 year old Gabriel Aguilar-Camacho, has been booked into the Washoe County jail on five charges including sexual assault and battery to commit sexual assault on a victim age 16 or older among other charges.
