(Incline Village, NV) — A seven-year-old girl is dead after being hit by a falling boulder at Diamond Peak Ski Resort in Incline Village. On Monday, the Washoe County Regional Medical Examiner’s Office identified the boy as Adelyn Grimes, a Reno resident. Grimes was struck by the boulder on Saturday afternoon and died at the scene. Investigators have ruled the cause of death was blunt-force injuries to the neck and chest. The manner of death was ruled accidental.
