EPA Settles With Two Nevada Companies

The US EPA has settled with two northern Nevada companies over the improper sales of pesticides. Sparks based Well Plant Inc, and it’s affiliate GST International will pay a 12 thousand dollar penatly over sales of a product called “Mold Manager.” EPA says Mold Manager was unregistered and misbranded.MORE

UNR Gets Gender Based Violence Grant

The University of Nevada has won a 300 thousand dollar grant to combat gender based violence, from the U.S. Justice department’s office on violence against women. 27 universities won the grants. Man Faces 10 Years in Prison For Lewdness
