NHP Looking For Driver Who Fired Shots on I-580 in Reno

The Nevada Highway Patrol is trying to track down the driver who fired a shot at a van on Interstate 580. It happened Sept. 8th near Mill Street. Authorities say the driver of a white Chevy Tahoe with Raiders license plates, tinted windows and large black wheels shot at a white Ford Transit van.MORE

Washoe County School Board Moving Ahead With Redistricting Plan

The Washoe County School Board voted at their meeting last night to go ahead with a redistricting plan. The 2020 census says the population in the area has grown, so two areas may have to adjust, Pleasant Valley and Southwest Reno. Final maps will be presented to the board at the end of October.MORE
