More Non-stop Reno Flights

  Reno-Tahoe International Airport has announced new, non-stop flights to Los Angeles on Allegiant Air. Flights lifted off for the first time yesterday. Fire Stopped on I-80

A brushfire along I 80 near Patrick grew to an estimated two acres, and was contained in about an hour Thursday afternoon. Storey County Fire led the fight, with help from several other agencies. A Chinese company that makes passenger-carrying drones will be testing its system in Nevada. “EHang Inc.” is partnering with the Nevada Institute for Autonomous Systems to test and develop a smartphone-directed drone service.
