Man Arrested For Attacking His Own Grandmother

Sparks Police arrested a man after he allegedly attacked his 88-year-old grandmother by suffocating her with a plastic bag and then beating her with a brick-like object. 37-year-old Michael Kevin O’Day was booked into the Washoe County jail on felony charges of battery with a deadly weapon with an enhancement for attacking an elderly person.…MORE

Washoe County Reaches 200 COVID-19 Related Deaths

Washoe County has reached 200 COVID-19 deaths with two deaths reported Sunday. Both were men with underlying health conditions. One was in his 60s and one was in his 90s. There were also 115 new infections reported and 97 recoveries.MORE
