Slinkard Fire Fully Contained

The Bureau of Land Management says the Slinkard Fire is fully contained after burning 8,925 acres, or 14 square miles. There have been no injuries and no structures lost. The lightning-caused fire was in Slinkard Valley and the west slope of Antelope Valley, west of Topaz in Mono County, California. The fire started August 29th.MORE
