Bill Aims to Ban Weapons From Libraries

Nevada Democrats are proposing giving library managers authority to enforce weapons bans at their facilities. Frozen Pizzas Sold in Nevada Under Recall

More than 21,000 pounds of frozen pizzas are being recalled due to possible listeria contamination. RBR Meat Company Inc. recalled its Marketside supreme frozen pizza. Caltrans Working on I-80 This Weekend

The California Department of Transportation will be working on westbound Interstate 80 east of Truckee today and Saturday. Angie Taylor Announces Breast Cancer Diagnosis

The president of the Washoe County School District Board of Trustees has announced she has breast cancer. Angie Taylor made the announcement in an email Wednesday. School district spokeswoman Victoria Campbell says Taylor is not resigning, but her future school board activities may be limited. Taylor was appointed to the school board in 2014.MORE

U.S. 95 Reopens South of Fallon

NDOT reopened U.S. 95 south of Fallon ahead of schedule last night, after installation of additional drainage culverts to help protect the roadway during local flood mitigation efforts. Truck Crashes Into Paradise Park

A pickup truck crashed through a fence into Paradise Park Wednesday night just before 10 O’clock. According to police the vehicle took the curve on Elementary Drive near Bernice Mathews Elementary School too fast and crashed into the fence.
